Pursuant to Article 145 of the constitutional law the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, the NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs nominated the candidacy of Gagik Barseghyan to the National Assembly for the vacancy of the member of the Audit Chamber.

The Chairman of the NA Accounting Committee Narek Babayan informed that 72 members of parliament out of 107 took part in the secret ballot, there were no invalid ballot papers in the ballot box.

67 deputies voted for Gagik Barseghyan’s candidacy.

So, Gagik Barseghyan was elected Member of the Audit Chamber.

The election was held on January 17.
